About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established manufacturing facility offering a stable, long-term opportunity. This position offers an excellent work-life balance with a 3-day work week, competitive hourly rate of $54 per hour plus shift loading, and a fast pathway to permanent employment for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on plant and equipment
  
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical faults
  
• Perform installations, upgrades, and modifications to machinery
  
• Conduct inspections and complete maintenance reports accurately
  
• Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety standards and company procedures
  
• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime
  

What We’re Looking For

• Australian recognised Mechanical Trade qualification (Certificate III Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent)
  
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production maintenance environment
  
• Sound knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  
• Full Australian work rights and reliability to commit to ongoing employment
